Boxes

It seems fab, these days, to make sites with boxes of which the corners are rounded off. Tired as we are of tabular layout we feel the need to crash through the rectangles that we see in the applications on our computer every day. However, we don't get very far. The round-cornered boxes still are boxes.

Thus, from me to you, a bit of an antidote. Some boxes created by me. To truly escape that feeling of being boxed in.

Or not.

Below you can find a Scalable Vector Graphic with 6 boxes. Why SVG? Because it's all the hype. For you poor gits who don't use an SVG-savvy webbrowser, I've included a Shockwave Flash file to show the same. And if you don't even have that, you'll be looking at a bitmapped image. Awww.

For those who care, the graphic was created using Sun OpenOffice 2.0, using the Draw module, and from within that application exported to svg, swf and gif respectively. All I did was draw non-boxes.
