About this page
This solver is an aid to help you solve the puzzle. It doesn't do the work by itself!
Goal of the puzzle
Create correct sums by filling in all the white boxes.
Examples
  1. Nicely ordered numerals
  2. Middle sums top and bottom
Other variants of Sumbrero Puzzles
  1. Sumbrero 7 - the simplest variant of Sumbreros.
Instructions
  1. Enter the known numbers in the black triangles: click and type. These numbers are going to be the sum of the Vectors (vertical and diagonal) formed by the white boxes.
  2. Try adding up to these sums by entering numbers ranging from 1 to 9 in the white boxes: click and type.
  3. If a number is used in a line you can't use it again in the same line. (You can use the same number in an other line.) As an example: wrong sums would be 4 = 2 + 2 and 4 = 0 + 4. Correct sums include 4 = 1 + 3 and 4 = 3 + 1.
  4. Using red Vectors around the black triangles, the puzzle will indicate whether your entries in the white boxes correctly add up to the numbers in the black triangles.
